MASSACHUSETTS – Come join The Katyn Military Corp of Bristol County for a wreath laying ceremony at the Pulaski Monument located at the corner of Warren and Pulaski Streets in Fall River on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 11:30 am.
The public is invited to Pulaski Park for this ceremony.
General Pulaski Memorial Day is a United States public holiday in honor of the general. This holiday is held every year on October 11th by presidential proclamation and that of once Massachusetts Governor Edward King. It is to commemorate the General’s death from wounds he suffered at the Siege of Savannah on October 9, 1779 and to honor the heritage of Polish Americans.
