FLORIDA – Vincent James Broccolo, age 88, of Tavares passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born December 15, 1925 in Locust Valley, Long Island, NY and moved to Tavares in 1981 from Port Washington, NY. He worked many years for A&P Grocery and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in WWII. He was a member of the Italian Club of Lake County. He is survived by his wife, Rita Broccolo of Tavares, FL; son, Vincent Broccolo of Macon, GA; daughter, Francine Broccolo of Tavares, FL; brothers, Freddi Broccolo of Eustis, FL, William Broccolo of The Villages, FL, and Frank Broccolo of Glen Cove, NY; best friends, Linda and Jeff Byrns; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Jargee of Lindsey and Jeffery Byrns.
