CLIFTON, NJ – The Athenia Business Association held its 14th Annual Van Houten Ave Street Fair on Sunday, September 18th, 2016. Van Houten Ave was transformed into a giant town block party. There were vendors of all kinds – food, crafts, jewelry, shoes, information booths, a photo booth and much more. On stage there was live entertainment by Swingman & The Misfit Mutts Band, and The Garrett Mountain Boys. A martial arts demonstration was provided by the Clifton Martial Arts Academy.  Medieval Times’ King and Queen and their knights visited the fair, and the knights put on a few sword fights to the cheering crowd.  And the shining star of the event was the Clifton High School Mustang Marching Band who thrilled all in attendance. There were rides for the kids along with an added attraction this year … a 300 ft zipline.  All in all it was a wonderful day!
