Community Policing In Rutherford
Felician University Sponsors Third Lecture on Race and Criminal Justice in America
Rutherford, NJ — Felician University’s Committee on Leadership and Social Justice is hosting the third in a series of events on the topic of “Race and Criminal Justice in America.” This lecture is titled “Community Policing in Rutherford.” It will be a conversation about town/county/university relations and related issues and will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. in Castleview on Felician University’s Rutherford campus, One Felician Way, Rutherford, NJ 07070.
The event features two speakers: John Russo, Chief of the Rutherford Police Department, and Gurbir Grewal, Bergen County Prosecutor. Dr. Irfan Khawaja, associate professor of Philosophy and co-chair, Committee on Leadership and Social Justice at Felician University will serve as moderator.
There is no fee, and all are welcome, but you will be asked to register at the door.
