“Golden Girls III” for Annual Dinner/Theater

CLIFTON, NJ – The Theater League of Clifton will present its 2019 dinner/theater production, “Golden Girls III (The Curse of Jessica Fletcher),” on Feb. 22, 23, 24 and March 2, 3, 9 and 10. Performances will be held at Mario’s Restaurant, 710 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees starting at 4 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $45 per person (there is an additional $2.50 fee per ticket for all credit card reservations). The Theater League’s mailing address is: PO Box 4072, Clifton, NJ 07012. Ticket reservations include dinner at Mario’s (salad, pasta, two entrees, vegetables, potato, dessert, soda, coffee and tea; food is served “family style”).
The show, written by John R. Logue, is directed by Erin Woodward, while Mark Peterson serves as the producer. Joseph Renga is the stage manager. Cast members for the comedy include Jessica Steele, Tara Moran, Matthew Gill Clark, Penelope Surgent, Karen Bednarz, and Annette Winter.
Woodward is an alumna of Montclair High School’s SVPA (School of Visual and Performing Arts), and a graduate from NYU Tisch’s Drama program. She has directed and performed on both sides of the Hudson River, and has graduate degrees in Applied Theatre and Education. Peterson is the president of the Theater League of Clifton.
