Theater League of Clifton Invites Everyone
To “Big Gay Italian Wedding” Comedy

NEW JERSEY – The Theater League of Clifton will present its dinner/theater production of “My Big Gay Italian Wedding” at Mario’s Restaurant, 710 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Performance dates for the show are Sept. 18, 24, and 25 at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 19 and 26 at 4:00 p.m., Oct. 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 3 at 4 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $45 per person and includes a buffet dinner, coffee, tea, soda and dessert. The restaurant can accommodate dietary restrictions in advance, at the time of ticket reservations. A cash bar will be available for patrons. Tickets may be reserved by phone (973-928-7668); online via the theater’s website (www.theaterleagueofclifton.com); or regular mail—payment by check only. The show is being produced by special arrangement with Samuel French/Concord Theatricals, New York. Cast members include Beth Kearney, Roy Harry, Mary Laido, Mike Stracco, Jessa Blackthorne, Matt Rofofsky, Matt Blum, Richard Rivera, Deke Stoklosa, Grace Lyttle, Hope Foley, Krissy Sciarra, Steve Adubato, and Kelvin Ortega.

Clifton residents Mark Peterson and Jalmari Vanamo will serve as co-producers of the show, written by Anthony J. Wilkinson. Peterson is the president of the theater group. Mike Stracco of Hawthorne is the director of the comedy.

The play involves humorous obstacles that Anthony and Andrew face while planning their nuptials. Andrew and Anthony are getting married and their wacky friends and relatives want to help. “My Big Gay Italian Wedding” spins into hysterical chaos as everyone tries to have their way.

Founded in 2005, the Theater League is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the arts through theatrical performances, while providing quality entertainment for all ages. The Theater League welcomes volunteers in all aspects of performance and production.
