The Michigan Beat 12-4-13
Lot of happenings again this month, so let’s get right into it. There was an All Saints Eve Party held this year at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Grand Rapids, MI. Over 200 parish families and students of Sacred Heart Academy along with their families (this parish’s Catholic grade school) attended this event. It was complete with food, games, plenty of fellowship and fun. And on All Saints Day, of course there was Mass. One mass included all the school children who attend Sacred Heart Academy. They were dressed up as saints at this mass, as they all were at the event the night before, along with the adults.
The first part of December, the place to be was Sullivan’s Black Forest Eatery in Frank-N-Muth, Michigan. This is where The Alex Meixner Band was entertaining. Believe me, I’m sure they were entertaining! Have you ever seen this band before?
