Tasty Candy Wreath


Tasty Candy Wreath

1 1/2 Tbs. Margarine
5 oz. Marshmallows (approx. 20)
Food Coloring
3 cups Crisp Rice Cereal
1 container white frosting (any kind B. Crocker/ Pillsbury)
2 lbs. Green & Red M&M’s Plain Chocolate Candies

Melt 11/2 Tbs. margarine in a saucepan over low heat.
Add 5 oz. marshmallows (20 approx.) and stir until completely melted.
Remove from heat and tint with food coloring.
Mix in 3 cups of crisp rice cereal.
Coat your hands with margarine and form the crisp rice mixture into a ring on wax paper.
(Ring should be about 7″ in diameter.)
Stir a few drops of food coloring into the white frosting and blend thoroughly.
Reserve 1/4 cup aside. Spread a thin layer of frosting over the entire ring.
Place green M&M’s plain chocolate candies (2 lbs.) over entire ring covering the frosting.
Dab frosting on the red M&M’s plain chocolate and place three candies in a cluster to create berries.
Dab frosting on a bow and place on top of wreath. Slice and serve.
