is a nationwide historical campaign in Poland for commemorating and honoring the participants of the Warsaw Uprising by sending them free postcards distributed at selected outlets of the campaign’s partners, including Poczta Polska, LOTTO or on board the aircrafts of LOT Polish airlines.

The Warsaw Uprising was one of the most important historical events that shaped the Polish identity. Its heroes sacrificed their youth to fight for our freedom. Those people deserve our gratitude, memory and respect – BohaterON campaign allows anyone to express it in a symbolic way.

How to send the cards?
Ask for a postcard at one of the distribution points, write a few words and send it to the address provided on it. A postcard can be sent from anywhere in the world.

The campaign lasts from August 1st to October 2nd, 2017, symbolically commemorating the 63 days of the Warsaw Uprising.
