Quickie Apple – Cranberry Pie

1 (15 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury or any refrigerated pie crusts

3 c. peeled, sliced apples
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 T. margarine or butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce

Prepare pie crusts using 2 crusts. Combine all filling ingredients, mix lightly, spoon into crust lined pan. Top with remaining crust, seal edges & flute. Cut 3 slits in top crust. Bake at 425˚ about 50 minutes. After 20 minutes of baking cover edge with shield or use strips of foil to prevent over-browning. Serve with mound of vanilla ice cream.
