Springtime Events

* Sunday, April 3, 2016, Jutrzenka #226 – PSAA will hold its Annual Fundraiser Card Party from 2 – 6 pm in the lower school hall of Our Lady Czestochowa – St. Casimir’s Parish. located at 183 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232. Leokadia Juszczak and Janina Oledzka agreed to be co-chairladies of the event. All are welcome to come and help us make it a success. For reservations, or further information, call 718-720-6089.

* Sunday, April 10, 2016, Jutrzenka’s OLC. St. Casimir Parish will be holding its Annual Swieconka. If interested in joining us in attending, please advise Adele Iwachow by calling 718-748-3699.

* Saturday, April 16th, 2016 – at the Polish Slavic Center, 177 Kent Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222, PSAA’s District 7 will hold a fun-filled Fundraiser Dance. Theme: Music of the 70’s and 80’s with DJ. * Sunday, April 24th, 2016 at 7 pm – New York’s Polish Consulate is organizing a Concert at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYCdedicated to St. Pope John II and the 1050th Anniversary of Poland’s Christianity. * Saturday, April 30th, 2016, The American Association of the Friends of Kosciuszko at West Point will culminate their Annual Kosciuszko Seminar (held Friday, April 29th) with 9:00 am Mass at the Cadet Chapel; parade of cadets 11:00 am; 12:30 pm Yearly Observance at the Kosciuszko Monument; and 2:00 pm Lunch at Thayer Hotel. One of District 7’s choruses will be singing. For details, call 917-913-3133.

* May 21, 2016 Jutrzenka #226 is hosting the 65th Polish Singers Alliance of America’s District 7 Convention at at OLC’s Parish. Families, friends and interested admirers of choral music as well as PSAA’s fine work promulgating Polish Culture through song are cordially invited to come to the Festival-style Competition and Concert to be held at 2:30 pm in the church proper of the OLC – St. Casimir Parish 183 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232 … followed by a 5:00 PM Mass of Thanksgiving for living and deceased members of the PSAA. At 7:00 pm, the Awards Dinner-Dance will be held at the Grand Prospect Hall located at 263 Prospect Avenue in South Brooklyn, NY 11215 between 5th and 6th Avenues overlooking the Prospect Expressway.
