SPECIAL NOTICE
Well polka fans and readers….. as you have read the announcement from our Post Eagle Editor in last week’s issue, this week’s issue of the Post Eagle will be the last printed copy and no more issues will be mailed out for at least the next month. However, there is good news as it will be available on the website
www.posteaglenewspaper.com.
I have enjoyed writing my “Polka Notes Column” and bringing you all the polka news happenings for the past 50 years or so and I am also proud to say that over the years I have never missed having a column each & every week with all the polka news for you polka fans. I guess that amounts to over 2,500 columns in succession ….WOW!! I will continue on writing my column during this time and it will be on the website, so make sure to look for it.
Also, I would like to send out a big “THANK YOU” to all the polka bandleaders, promoters, Polish Clubs and organizations etc. etc. for your kind support with your advertising over the years and to all of those who always placed holiday greeting ads in our special Christmas & Easter issues. It is just sad to say that we never received 100% support from everyone and maybe that’s one of the reasons the Post Eagle has come to where they are at this point in time because of the lack of complete support from everyone!!!
Remember, go to the Post Eagle website for updates about the Post Eagle.
