The German American Cultural Society will be sponsoring “The Three B’s Polka Summerfest” this Saturday, August 3rd at the German Club located at 78 Carter Ave. in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with music & dancing from 7-11 p.m. featuring the outstanding musical entertainment of The Alex Meixner Band from Florida. The Anthracite Polka Association (APA) of PA in appreciation of all the support of the members & non-members of their Polka Dances over the past many many years will be having “Two Free Polka Dances” for all to enjoy. The dances will be held at the Freeland Event Center, 526 Fern Street in Freeland, PA (7 miles from Hazleton) with the first dance this Sunday, August 4th featuring The Shoreliners from 2-6 p.m. The second Polka Dance will be held on Sunday, September 22nd from 2-6 p.m. featuring EFO- The Eddie Forman Orch. from Hadley, MA.
