A friendly reminder to all polka bandleaders, promoters, clubs, organizations, etc. to please send all your ads, news releases, band schedules, write-ups etc. to me as early as possible – at least 3 weeks prior to publication to insure it will be included in my Polka Notes Column. The Bayway Polish Club in Elizabeth, NJ will not have “Polka Dancing” this coming weekend. Make your plans now for the annual “St. Patrick’s Day Polka Celebration” next Sunday, March 17th at Bayway featuring Dennis Polisky & The Maestros Men (CT). Dancing 2-6 p.m……. This Friday night (7:30-11:30) Bayway will have “Social / Ballroom Dancing” with music by Vintage and DJ Wolfie….. “Polka Gala / Dinner Dance” Sunday, April 28th at the Brick Elks Lodge #2151 located at 2493 Hooper Ave. in Brick, NJ.
