A “CRAZY HAT POLKA DANCE” next Sunday, April 6th at the German Club located at 78 Carter Ave. in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Doors open at 1 p.m. with food & refreshments available. The 25th annual “PALM SUNDAY POLKA BENEFIT DANCE” will be taking place Sunday, April 13th at the K. of C. Hall on Pine Road & Route 29 West in Saratoga Springs, NY. As a polka special this year and in celebration of the 25th Anniversary many musicians from the past 25 years plus other special surprise guests will alternate with the featured band POLKA COUNTRY MUSICIANS (CT) starting at 12 noon till 6 p.m. Kitchen & cash bar open starting at 12 noon. POLKA BAND LISTING CORRECTION…… The band listed in the weekend band listings last week for Sunday, March 30th – Tony Blazonczyk New Phaze Polka Band from Chicago at the Polish Club in Ludlow, Ma is in-correct. Tony and his band will be featured at the Ludlow Polish Club on Sunday, April 27th….. and not March 30th. Make your plans to be there…… Check their ad on the polka pages for the schedule of all the fine polka bands that will be appearing at the Polish Club in the coming weeks. THE JIMMY STURR ORCH. will be taping “live” new TV shows for his National TV Show this coming weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday – March 28, 29, 30 at the Mohegan Casino & Hotel at Pocono Downs in Wilkes Barre, PA.
