JANUARY IS NATIONAL POLKA MONTH !!!

The German American Cultural Society on Carter Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island will have a special “POLKA DANCE” this Sunday, January 19th at the German Club in celebration of January being “National Polka Month”. Dancing from 2-6 p.m. featuring THE CHRIS & RONNIE POLKA BAND from New York who will be making their 1st appearance at the German Club. Doors will open at 1 p.m. with food & cash bar available. “POLKA DANCE & POLISH DINNER” on Friday, January 31st at the beautiful Ellie’s Flamingo Ballroom located at Ellie’s 50’s Diner, 2410 North Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Florida. Dinner at 6 p.m. with a complete Hot Polish Style Buffet Dinner with pierogi, kielbasy, golumki etc. plus dessert, coffee and tea included. Cash Bar available. Dancing 7-11 p.m. featuring the popular POLKA FAMILY BAND from PA. Tickets $35.00 per person – reservations needed! Last year’s dinner/dance was a SELL-OUT. The Polish American Social Club of Vero Beach, Florida located at 7500 Route US # 1 will hold their first of many “POLKA DANCES” this Sunday, January 19th that they will be presenting this 2014 winter polka dance season. Dancing will be from 2-6 p.m. featuring JERSEY POLKA RICHIE. Food will be available at this and all dances. February dances at the Polish Club will feature THE POLKA FAMILY BAND (PA) on Sunday, February 2nd, and EFO – THE EDDIE FORMAN ORCH. (MA) on Sunday, February 16th. Polka bands scheduled in March include Sunday, March 2nd JIMMY STURR ORCH. (NY) and Sunday, March 23rd RBO-RICH BOBINSKI ORCH. (CT). Tickets for all dances are now on sale and available by calling 772-778-0039. Make your plans to be there and enjoy the fine polka sounds of all these bands from up-north coming to Florida to entertain you.
