Promulgating Polish Culture Through Song
Very soon, over a dozen member choruses from various Districts of the USA and Canada will be gathering for their 50th International Convention of the Polish Singers Alliance of America hosted by District IV of Detroit, MI. The convention will be headquartered at DOUBLETREE by HILTON, 5801 Smithfield Expressway in Detroit, MI 48228 where Business Sessions will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 22 and 23; Choral Competitions on Saturday, May 24th afternoon, followed in the evening with a Gala Ball. On Sunday, May 25th singers will attend Brunch at the hotel at which time the outcome of the choral competitions will be announced. On Sunday, after Brunch, the singers will head for St. Florian Catholic Church located at 2626 Poland Street in Hamtramck, MI where they will participate and sing at the noon Mass which will be followed by their Gala Concert, the culminating activity of their “Singers’ Holiday”.
