Polish Heritage Night On September 9th

We are excited to announce the second edition of Polish Heritage Night at Audi Field with D.C. United. D.C. United plays San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, September 9th at 7:30 p.m. 

Rally your support for Polish D.C. United midfield, Mateusz Klich, and his squad, as they push for a playoff spot in the competitive Eastern Conference! This edition will feature a show down between D.C. United and the visiting San Jose Earthquakes! Our previous edition of Polish Heritage Night with D.C. United featured a blistering 3-0 win against Charlotte F.C., with the Polish midfield maestro working his magic to help secure a victory. Come out and enjoy the night with us, Mateusz and D.C. United!

The Audi Field is located at 100 Potomac Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024.

Mateusz Klich (D.C. United):
Born in Tarnów, the blistering Polish midfielder has enjoyed a successful competitive career so far on the pitch. He signed with D.C. United to a two-year deal in January of this year from the former English Premier League side Leeds United. Klich got his senior career start with Polish Ekstraklasa side Cracovia in 2008, and has played for notable clubs such as Wolfsburg, Kaiserslautern, Twente, and Leeds United. Klich has won club honors during his time with PEC Zwolle in 2013-14, winning the KNVB Cup, and with Leeds United in 2019-2020, when they hoisted the English Football Championship trophy. So far during his tenure with D.C. United, Klich has scored two goals, and recorded five assists in over 20 games this season.
