Polish Flag Raising In Clifton
CLIFTON, NJ – The annual Polish flag raising ceremony was held on Saturday, October 1 on the grounds of Clifton City Hall in Clifton. Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, it didn’t stop the Polish community from attending the ceremonies.
Councilman Grabowski and other dignitaries attended the festivities.
The following day, Sunday, October 2nd, the Polish contingent marched from the Athenia Veterans Post on Huron Avenue to St. John Kanty Church on Speer Ave. There they boarded the buses for New York City to march in the Pulaski Day Parade up Fifth Avenue.
