2019 marks the Centennial of Polish-US diplomatic ties! Here’s our logo for this special anniversary, one of our ways of saying Sto Lat to PL-US friendship!

It’s been a century of solidarity, understanding and friendship. America played an important role in Poland regaining independence, and in 1919 the United States became the first major power to recognize Polish statehood. That May, American and Polish missions opened respectively in Warsaw and Washington, marking the beginning of a century of bilateral diplomatic ties.

Throughout the last 100 years Poles and Americans have continued to inspire each other in our common desire for freedom and democracy. Today our relations are stronger than ever!
