NYC Concert – ACT FOR TADEUSZ KOSCIUSZKO – By Cracow Duo
NEW YORK – The Kosciuszko Foundation in Partnership with The Polish Cultural Institute of New York and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute present: ACT FOR TADEUSZ KOSCIUSZKO – the only NYC concert by the Cracow Duo: Jan Kalinowski, cello and Marek Szlezer, piano. The concert will be held on Friday, October 20th, 7:30 p.m. at The Kosciuszko Foundation, 15 East 65th Street, New York, NY 10065. Join us for the cello and piano recital by the Cracow Duo commemorating Tadeusz Kosciuszko on the bicentennial of his passing. The duo has performed together for 15 years in Europe, Asia and USA, including Carnegie Hall and Newman Hall in LA in 2015, receiving the highest critical acclaim. The concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation will be the only NYC concert performed during the duo’s tour throughout the United States this fall. The concert will feature works by Chopin, Nowowiejski, Paderewski Stojowski, Tansman and a premiere Act for Tadeusz Kosciuszko by Jakub Polaczyk.
