PAFF (Polish-American Fashion Foundation) Hosts Night of Polish Fashion & US Market Week
To Internationalize Polish Designers

New York, NY – Nine Polish fashion and accessories designers will cross borders to New York for an exclusive Night of Polish Fashion and market week October 17-23, 2016 that will host a variety of events and opportunities for industry insiders and buyers as well as the general public to get up close and personal with Polish design.  The Polish-American Fashion Foundation (PAFF) serves as a platform globalizing Polish fashion as a unique division, and reinforcing its integration into the industry by offering participating designers the tools, contacts and a platform to network and establish an abundance of connections within the global market focusing on the US.

Kicking off the weeklong event will be the Night of Polish Fashion event held in INGLOT’s uber chic 5th floor Chelsea Market pro studio. The fashion industry elite will be welcomed into the space with flowing libations and light hors d’oeuvres. The Polish fashion houses are buzzing with excitement to introduce their brands to the US market. Designer interviews and meet and greets will serve as the communication base for the brands to launch their message internationally in New York. About PAFF

The Polish-American Fashion Foundation (PAFF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 as a platform to generate exposure and opportunities for young Polish fashion designers. It is the Foundation’s mission to promote Polish fashion globally, with a special focus on the United States. Ultimately, PAFF would like to provide an entry point for Polish designers into the American market.

For our inaugural Fashion Week (2015), PAFF organized a major fashion event featuring strictly Polish designers – a first for Poland and New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Held at the New Museum, this event was a huge success and lead to new opportunities and closer relations with many important institutions and partners both in Poland and the US.

In December of 2015, PAFF received the “Friend of the Polish Economy” award from the Trade & Investment Section of the Consulate General of Poland in New York. This award is granted to companies that have had a profound impact on the promotion of Poland overseas. This year’s second recipient was Google Inc.
