New Milford Resident’s Novel Named Winner
… In International Impact Book Awards
A novel by frequent contributor to the Post Eagle, Bob Nesoff, has taken honors in a category with more than 100 entries.
Spyder Hole, a fast-moving tale of terrorists attempting to set off nuclear weapons in New York and London has been named the winner in the International Impact Book Awards “Adventure” category.
The story follows a former American green Beret office, now an Israeli Mossad leader, who missed the information that could have stopped the 9/11 attack killing more than 2,000 innocent people. He now has information of an even more devastating planned attack.
This time he won’t let it happen. He is tasked with an international “Ghost Force” to bring down the terrorists with extreme prejudice, before they can accomplish their goal.
Nesoff, a former daily newspaper reporter (The Record and Newark News) and former Executive Editor of New York Lifestyles Magazine, served as a Green Beret in the Army. Reviewers have said he writes what he is familiar with. Spyder Hole is rated 4.5 stars out of five stars on Amazon. He and his late wife, Sandy, traveled the world throughout Europe, Africa, China and the Americas.
He was a First Responder at Ground Zero on 911 and noted hat experience prompted his idea for Spyder Hole. The book has received high praise from a variety of reviewers and Thomas Needham, a retired Green Beret two-star general.
Nesoff incorporates locations around the world that he is familiar with, into the book, bringing the story to life. He is now working on a sequel to Spyder Hole, titled “Shaheed,” about an effort by terrorists attempting to provoke a war between Western nations and the Arab world with the intent of building a caliphate from the smoking ruins of Western nations.
Autographed copies of Spyder Hole can be obtained by writing Nesoff at 626 McCarthy Drive, New Milford, NJ 07646-1029, enclosing a check in the amount of $24, including tax and shipping. Include a note as to how you would like the book personalized. He will also be doing a book signing at Barnes and Noble on Rt. 17, Paramus, in March.
