Blessing of oils: Bishop Paul Sobiechowski.
WARE, MASSACHUSETTS – The Annual Eastern Diocese Polish National Catholic Church Mass of Chrism and Blessing of Oils took place at Holy Cross Church on Holy Tuesday. The principal celebrant was the spiritual head of the Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Paul Sobiechowski, Manchester, NH with the diocesan priests as con-celebrants.The United Choirs with guest organist-director, Karen Sobiechowski sang sacramental selections. The bishop was greeted with the traditional bread and salt by vice-chair of Parish Committee, Lisa Koss. The Very Rev. Fryderyk S. Banas, pastor, greeted the bishop, priests, all attendees, united choirs and guest organist.

Following the Mass and Blessing, a souvenir photograph was taken of the bishop and priests by parish photographer, Eugene Kulas. After this, all gathered in the church hall for a meal served and prepared by several parish ladies with Paul Laska as principal cook and chef. A very uplifting and spiritual filling occasion for those in attendance.
