It’s Hot In Afghanistan….
Remember Our Soldiers When Shopping

CLIFTON, NJ – Volunteers from the Clifton Cares Project will be meeting again in September to box supplies for our soldiers in the very hot countries of Afghanistan and Kuwait. On your next trip to do your shopping, please add to your list freezer pops, lemonade or ice tea powdered packets. Of course cookies and candy are welcomed in any weather.

Our returning soldiers tell us the popular items are chocolate (which we will resume sending in December), beef jerky and Rommen noodles. If you are shopping, please add one of these items to your cart to make a soldier smile.

We are always in need of monetary donations so we can continue with the mailings. Postage is now $15.90, so your check for 1 box or any amount you can donate is appreciated.

Please continue bringing supplies to City Hall and/or make a donation towards postage. Stop and see Lizz Gagnon at the Tax Office at City Hall with your check or mail it to her at City Hall. Check should be payable to Lizz Gagnon and earmarked as Clifton Cares.
