Governor Rauner Welcomes
CHICAGO, IL (Tuesday, April 11, 2017) – Governor Rauner met with Polish Ambassador Piotr Wilczek and discussed the economic partnership between Poland and Illinois on Monday.
“It was a pleasure meeting with Ambassador Wilczek, this morning,” said Governor Rauner. “The Chicagoland area is home to more than one million Polish Americans and the largest concentration of people with Polish heritage outside of Warsaw. It is important we recognize this thriving community and the many contributions Polish Americans have made in the State of Illinois.”
