Historian Looking For Information
On Passaic Textile Strike
I am a historian researching the textile workers’ strike that took place in the woolen and worsted mills in Passaic and the surrounding area in 1926-27 (including Clifton, East Paterson/Elmwood Park, Garfield, and Lodi, NJ); commonly known as the Passaic textile strike). I am interested in obtaining copies of any letters or any other documentation or photographs of the impact of the strike; I would also be interested in any stories that people might have heard from relatives or acquaintances who had been affected by or involved in the strike. People with such material should feel free to contact me via email at j.a.zumoff@gmail.com or by mail at the following address: Professor Jacob Zumoff, Department of History, New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ 07305
