CLIFTON, NJ – Troop 22 of Clifton NJ had 4 Scouts attain the rank of Eagle between February 26, 2015 to February 6, 2016. Troop 22 held a Court of Honor this year to recognize these fine young men for their tremendous accomplishments in Scouting. All 4 scouts are members of The Order of the Arrow which is Scouting’s National Honor Society. (First photo on right: Bryan Becker, Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 22 & President of Crew 22). To attain the rank of Eagle Scout it is required to get at least 21 merit badges out of over 130 but these scouts went above and beyond and have 246 merit badges between them The most important step to becoming an Eagle Scout is by leading a service project for the community and these scouts have over 1000 service hours between their 4 projects that benefitted Clifton’s parks, Animal Shelter, & The Boys & Girls Club.
