Date Night
CLIFTON, NJ – The Clifton Recreation Department held their fourteenth Daddy-Daughter Date Night on Friday April 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center. Over 260 people were in attendance and approximately 20 staff helped throughout the evening, making this event an incredible success. Upon arrival, daddies and daughters were greeted by our hostess and then escorted by waiters to candlelit tables adorned with floral centerpieces. Once seated, the waiters served a hot dinner available for the Daddy/Daughter couples to enjoy. The dinner was followed by a dessert bar. During the evening, dads and their daughters danced the night away to the sounds of a DJ, played board games and billiard type games, and made arts and crafts together. Each dad and daughter had an opportunity to cap off the evening with a special photograph taken of them. For the third year, there was a fun addition of a photo booth where the dads and daughters got to dress up in funny costumes and take photos together. The most memorable moment of the evening was watching all the dads slow-dancing under the twinkle lights hung around the room with their daughters. It was a very heartwarming evening, one we’re sure the daughters will never forget.
