On Tuesday September 18, 2018 the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, will visit the White House to discuss with President Donald J.Trump security concerns caused by Kremlin revanchism and by NORDSTREAM II. This high level meeting was announced on August 28. The meeting of the two presidents also will commemorate the centennial of the restoration of the Polish State. President Duda and his delegation will be inside the White House from approximately 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
At 2 p.m. on September 18, Polish Americans and others, who wish to mark President Duda’s visit, will hold a demonstration of support for a strong bilateral relationship between Poland and the United States and between Americans and Poles, in Lafayette Park near the White House fence line. The message will be: a strong and truly sovereign Poland supports United States national security interests in East Central Europe and promotes the American values of political freedom and free enterprise in that vital part of the world.
