For President Obama’s Trip To Europe

In the morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President-elect Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine and then meet with employees and family members of the U.S. Embassy to Poland at the Warsaw Marriot Hotel.  There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the bilateral meeting with statements, and the meet with embassy employees and family members will be closed press.

Afterward, the President will travel to the Royal Castle.  He will be greeted by President Komorowski and take an official family photo with leaders attending the Freedom Day event, marking the 25th anniversary of Poland’s first partially free election.  At the Royal Castle, the President will deliver remarks commemorating Freedom Day.  There will be pre-set pool coverage of the arrival and family photo, and the President’s remarks are open press.

In the afternoon, the President will depart Poland en route Brussels, Belgium.  The departure from Warsaw Chopin Airport will be pooled coverage, and the arrival at Brussels National Airport is open press.

In the evening, the President will travel to the Royal Palace of Brussels to take an official photo and meet with King Philippe and Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo of Belgium.  There will be a travel pool spray during the official photo, and the meeting will be closed press.  Afterward, the President will travel to the European Council-Justus Lipsius Building, where he will be greeted by and take a photo with EU leaders Jose Manuel Barroso and Herman Van Rompuy.  There will be pre-set pool coverage of the photo.  The President will then attend the 2014 G-7 Summit, which will begin with a leaders working dinner on foreign policy issues.  There will be a limited pool spray at the top of the dinner.

The President will remain overnight in Brussels.
