Clifton Savings Bank Receives Community
Service Award From New Jersey Bankers Association

Clifton, NJ – Clifton Savings Bank, which has provided banking services to New Jersey residents since 1928, has received a special Community Service Award from the New Jersey Bankers Association due to the bank’s exemplary philanthropic efforts in 2012.  Executives from Clifton Savings Bank were presented with the award at the New Jersey Bankers Association’s 109th Annual Conference in May.

Dozens of banks throughout the state are considered for the Community Service Award, with final recipients determined by  independent members of the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NJ-PRSA). Only seven ultimately were chosen.

Clifton Savings Bank participated in a number of community service projects and charitable endeavors in 2012, including an active role in the Bergen County Division of Community Development’s American Dream Program; a donation to New Jersey Community Development Corporation, a non-profit community development and social service agency operating in Paterson; volunteer efforts and donations to Habitat for Humanity; and personally conducting complimentary financial education courses for underprivileged New Jerseyans.
