Clifton Cares Needs Donations

CLIFTON, NJ – Our packing night in December has our cupboard bare!! We need supplies so we can meet again in February and show our appreciation to these fine young men and women serving in foreign lands.

The Clifton Cares Volunteers would like for you, on your next grocery trip, to add some cookies, candy, ice tea mix to your shopping cart and send some love from Clifton.

Our returning soldiers tell us the popular items are candy, beef jerky and Rommen noodles. If you are shopping please add one of these items to your cart to make a soldier smile.

We are always in need of monetary donations so we can continue with the mailings. Postage is now $15.90 … so your check for 1 box or any amount you can donate is appreciated.

Please continue with bringing supplies to City Hall and/or make a donation towards postage. Stop and see Lizz Gagnon at the Tax Office at City Hall with your check or mail it to her at City Hall. Check should be payable to Lizz Gagnon and earmarked as Clifton Cares.

Please bring your donations to City Hall by 2/10/16 for our next packing night. If you have any questions   please email Lizz at or call her on her cell at 973 818- 8141.

We thank our local newspapers for their ongoing support in getting this request to Clifton citizens. Thank you to our Clifton residents for their continued generosity. Our soldiers know that you all care!
