Chopin #182 Hosts PSAA’s District 7 Convention
An invitation to one and all!
NEW JERSEY – Polish Singers Alliance of America’s Chopin Singing Society #182 of Passaic, NJ will be hosting District 7’s 64th Convention on SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2015 at the Polish People’s Home, 1-3 Monroe Street in Passaic, NJ 07055.
Choruses of New Britain, CT; Passaic and Wallington, NJ; Greenpoint and South Brooklyn, as well as Hempstead Long Island of the State of New York; and also Philadelphia, PA will have their delegates arrive at 8:00 AM to begin the one-day convention with Delegates Business Sessions at 9:00 AM – 12:00 noon. As choruses arrive at noon for lunch, they will gather for brief warm-ups as they prepare themselves for the exciting song festival and competition that will take place in the main hall at 2:00 PM. The choruses will proceed to St.Joseph’s R.C. Church located at 7 Parker Avenue – corner of Monroe Street, Passaic, NJ where they will sing at the 5:00 PM Mass for their living and deceased members, followed by their Convention Concert Program at the church. The day’s activities will culminate at the Polish People’s Home with the Awards Banquet and Ball commencing at 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. For info, call 973-473-6619.
