CEPA Responds To
Russian Disinformation

The Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) launches a new online portal dedicated to exposing Russian-influenced propaganda in North-Central Europe. Part of CEPA’s on-going Information Warfare Initiative, the portal will monitor, collate and rebut Russian disinformation in Europe’s frontline states.

In launching the portal, CEPA has brought together leading journalists, civil society experts and media analysts from the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. The portal is intended to serve as a resource for exposing and analyzing Russian information warfare directed against U.S. allies in the region. The platform will provide up-to-date information on the methods and techniques of Russian disinformation in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. It will fill a gap in the Western analytical community’s knowledge of what Russia’s nodes of disinformation are saying; and how its false narratives are being disseminated.

The purpose of CEPA’s Information Warfare Initiative is to assist policymakers in advancing comprehensive counter-strategies to Russian propaganda in the CEE region. The portal represents a bold step in a wider transatlantic effort to counter the Kremlin’s influence in Western democracies.
