Celebrating Paczki Day!

NEW YORK – On February 6th, The Polka Magic Radio Network was live on location at St Michael’s Club, Reid Street, Amsterdam, NY, with John “LIL-JAS” Lesniewski and “HAPPY” Bob Pawlak & Crew who celebrated Paczki Day.
Paczki (punch-key) Day, a traditional Polish celebration, is the feast of plenty before the Lenten fast begins. It is the last day of gaiety in Karnawal time, the period between Christmas and Lent. Traditionally deep fried pastry (something like a deep fried jelly doughnut) are eaten on this day.
There was a Paczki contest. Fun was had by all. Ed Majewski, President of St.Michael’s Society Club commented, “This was a great event to celebrate our Polish heritage and support our club.”
The Polka Magic Radio Network can be heard on 91.1 WSPN, Saratoga Springs, WIZR 930 AM & 102.9 FM (The Cranesville Radio Network Stations. And WKAJ AM 1120 “The Bigfoot” , St Johnsville, NY, each Saturday 9am – 12 noon (est).
