Bergen 350 Commemorative Souvenir Pins
Commemorate State’s 350th Birthday In Bergen County
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Souvenir collector pins that commemorate the state of New Jersey’s 350th birthday in Bergen County are now available for sale at the Campbell-Christie House museum shop at Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge, and through the Bergen 350 web site, http://bergen350.com/store/
The pins are another way the Bergen 350 Committee is working to draw attention to the widely-publicized gala event to mark the state’s 350th anniversary in Bergen County, scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at The Venetian in Garfield, where 10 Bergen County legends will be honored, including John Borg, James Gandolfini, Bob McGrath, Bill Parcells and Mary Higgins Clark.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the long-awaited, much-needed Bergen County Hall of History, a state-of-the-art museum facility to be built at the Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge. As the only county-wide historical museum, it will exhibit BCHS’S collection that is in urgent need of a permanent home. To break ground, more than $250,000 is needed.
Cost of the pins is $2.00 each if purchased at the museum shop, with an additional charge for shipping if purchased through the web site.
