Back2School Outreach – Support Needed!

CLIFTON, NJ – July 8th through August 28th starts the Back2School Outreach for the 2019-2020 school year. The Back2School Outreach needs the communities support once again, by donating backpacks filled with school supplies. A supply list with instructions is available online at www.powerofoneccom.org or visit any of the Clifton firehouses, Clifton libraries or the Power of One Coaching Office on Van Houten Ave. Deadline for donations is August 24th.   Monetary donations are accepted to purchase supplies to help reach our goal. Mail checks payable to Power of One to PO Box 6080, Clifton, NJ 07015.

This year make an impact in your community by organizing a school supply drive with your employees, civic group or church members.  Contact Kim Castellano at 201-328-2326 for details on getting started.

The Back2School Outreach mission is to provide underprivileged children with a free quality backpack filled with school supplies for her/his new school year. The program has helped over 2,000 elementary school students in Clifton’s schools and local community. Backpacks are made available to all Title I schools and schools in need during the first weeks of school. Our goal for the 2019-2020 school year is 400 backpacks filled with school supplies for K-5 students and 150 for Middle school students.
