Wasikowski in Stoker
Starring Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode, Stoker – a British-American psychological thriller directed by Park Chan-wook just opened across the United States. An enigmatic uncle moves in with India (Wasikowska) and her emotionally unstable mother, after the death of India’s father. Although suspicions about his motives are raised, the two women soon find themselves drawn to him. Writing for Variety, critic Guy Lodge praised the film, calling it “a splendidly demented gumbo of Hitchcock thriller.”
