Kosciuszko Foundation Grants
and Fellowships

The Kosciuszko Foundation Grants and Fellowships are awarded annually to Polish citizens for advanced study, research and teaching at institutions of higher learning, and scientific and medical centers in the United States. The program helps researchers to garner expertise, practical skills and knowledge that they can bring back to Poland.

The KF Fellowships allow postgraduate scholars, professionals or artists who have completed their Ph.D. to undertake postdoctoral research in U.S. for 3 – 9 months.

The KF Grants allow graduate degree (M.A., M.S.) scholars, professionals or artists to conduct research in the U.S. for 3 -9 months.

The KF Teaching Fellowships – allow university faculty members to teach classes at U.S. universities for up to 10 months. The lectures should focus on Polish studies, including Polish language and culture. Teaching Fellows may also undertake or continue their research while lecturing.

On average 40 scholars per year are awarded with the Foundation’s grants and fellowships totaling about $400,000.

Announcing ArtsLink Kosciuszko International Fellowship

This year, we are delighted to announce a new partnership with the CEC ArtsLink in launching the ArtsLink Kosciuszko International Fellowship to be awarded annually to an artist or curator living and working in Poland. CEC ArtsLink places Fellows at established US non-profit arts organizations and covers associated living, working, travel, and health insurance costs. Applicants do not need to have contacts with organizations in the US to apply for this program, but proficiency in English is required.
