Piotr Praszkowicz Chosen As 2024 Grand Marshal
New York, NY – President Richard Zawisny of The General Pulaski Memorial Parade Committee, Inc. is pleased to announce the Grand Marshal of the 87th Pulaski Parade will be the Honorable Peter Praszkowicz from New York.
Piotr Praszkowicz , was born in 1970 in Poland . He is the son of Maria and Franciszek Praszkowicz. In 1991, Piotr immigrated to the United States of America, ultimately establishing roots in Manhattan, New York.
Piotr acquired from his family home the values that guide him in his work, family life and everyday life, which are hard work, determination and discipline. He prospers in various business ventures including his contracting company which he is successfully running since 1997, real estate and development investments. He takes an active part in various type of Polonia’s charities and foundations. He is a proud member of Pulaski Association of Business and Professional Men which is one of the sponsors of the Pulaski Day Parade.
Piotr is married to the former Dorota Rychlak. They are the proud parents of three children. The Praszkowicz family currently lives in Queens, New York. Praszkowicz family are parishioners at St. Stanislaus B&M Church in Manhattan. At the parish, Piotr volunteers his time and currently serves as a trustee of this parish. He is a member of the Parish Pulaski Committee. In 2022 Piotr was elected as the Manhattan Division Marshal of the Pulaski Parade where he lead the Manhattan contingent at 85th Annual Pulaski Parade in New York City. In 2023, his daughter was a Miss Polonia of Manhattan.
